BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — A 17-year-old girl wanted for attempted murder in connection with a recent shooting was arrested in Binghamton, according to the Broome County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities, working alongside the U.S. Marshals Regional Task Force, located the suspect at sites on Floral Avenue and Chelsea Square.

The Southern Tier SWAT team executed a search at a Chelsea Square residence, where they apprehended the suspect without incident. She was handed over to Binghamton Police for arraignment and will later be transferred to the custody of the Broome County Sheriff’s Office.
