ITHACA, N.Y. (APN) — Pro-Palestinian activists vandalized Cornell University’s main administrative building, Day Hall, on the first day of the fall semester, marking the entrance with graffiti and shattering a glass door, according to university officials.

The spray-painted messages, “Israel bombs, Cornell pays” and “Blood is on your hands,” were found on the building’s front entrance. University authorities condemned the vandalism, saying such behavior will not be tolerated and pledging prompt action by Cornell Police.

This incident comes on the heels of an 18-day pro-Palestinian encampment on campus last semester. Activists have pledged to continue advocating for Cornell to divest from companies linked to Israel.
