ATLANTA (APN) — Tompkins Community Bank has selected NCR Atleos Corporation to modernize its ATM services, shifting to a full-service ATM management model, the companies announced Monday.

The $7.8 billion-asset bank will transfer its entire ATM fleet operations to Atleos’ ATM as a Service (ATMaaS) solution, including hardware, software, security, maintenance, and cash management responsibilities.

Martin O. Cross, SVP and Banking Operations Manager at Tompkins, said the move will allow bank staff to focus more on customer-facing activities while expanding self-service banking capabilities.

The partnership represents an expansion of the existing relationship between the 190-year-old Ithaca, N.Y.-based bank and Atleos, a newly independent company that operates the largest independently-owned ATM network in the United States.
